Hey there, I’m Gabriella.

After losing over 100lbs, I developed a passion for strength training on my journey back to myself. The ability to shape and sculpt my body exactly how I wanted was mind-blowing. My passion and love inevitably cultivated curiosity about the science behind the magic. In 2022, I received my certification from NASM. I’ve been helping individuals build physiques they are proud to call their own while reclaiming their inner strength ever since.

My primary method of client goal attainment is by the use of free weights. Under my guidance, I help individuals learn various movements such as barbell squat, deadlift, and bench press in addition to dumbbell work. Confidence under the barbell is built not only through organized programming but also implementation of proper technique based on an individual’s biomechanics. “No one size fits all,” could not be a more honest statement. With an emphasis on proper breathing mechanics, biomechanical technique, and progressive programming I ensure a fun and pain free lifting experience.

My Approach

Science Backed Techniques

As an innately curious person, education is important to me. Pair this with a drive for client satisfaction and it is no wonder I aim to waste no time in achieving measurable results. My programming and coaching style are rooted in the conclusions of peer-reviewed studies. I will never program something I do not fully understand.

An Empathetic & Compassionate Approach

As a trauma-informed coach, I do not feel aligned with “traditional” or “mainstream” styles of coaching. I am strongly against the bootcamp vibe and shame based verbiage that often accompanies with. I’ve witnessed this method of coaching not only hinder one’s growth, but often create newfound gym resistance in addition to unnecessary feelings of shame and inadequacy. That is a prime example of what coaching should not be.

Coaching, at it’s core, is seeing an individual’s potential and shining a spotlight on it so that they are able to view it too. It is then creating a safe and supportive environment so that the client may begin to learn and hone a new skill. The importance of comfortability and safety felt while learning takes place is a commonly absent component in relation to gym settings. Accountability and correction without criticism is my fundamental motto I’ve adopted throughout my time working with clients.

Sustainable, Lasting Results

Whatever one’s goal may be, a state of permanency commonly reigns as a significant obstacle. The cause is often rooted in a need for fundamental behavioral change, not just exercise adherence. I combat this popular struggle through implementation of behavioral change strategies from day one. I believe it is my duty to meet you where you’re at and guide you to where you’re striving to be while increasing your capacity for permanency.
